Cheeses crust!

I have to admit, it must have a good couple of months since my last visit to Pizza Hut to savour the numerous mouth watering temptations that one can devour.

It then came as a pleasant surprise one fine day when I received the heart warming invitation by Missyblurkit to check out what could be the probable return of the Cheesy 7, at the Red Carpet Party held at Pizza Hut Malaysia's Kota Damansara restaurant.

The mere thought of sinking my teeth into pizzas was enough to make my mouth water, and upon hearing the magic words "Cheese", I see no reason to decline the chance at being what would be the first group of people to welcome the returnees of the Cheesy 7 gang. Hence, I pounced at the opportunity, not really knowing what I might actually be in for.

Of course, we have to go through the usual conundrum of signing in, which is the very first official sign-in for GotOomph by the lovely representatives of Pizza Hut Malaysia.

Shortly after we were led to our seats, we were told that we are to be blindfolded and sent to the gallows for the blind tasting that will ensue, much to the surprise of all the bloggers and tweeters there. No photography allowed? A blind tasting session? Hmmm.

Assisted by good folks of Pizza Hut Malaysia we we promptly binded, but knowing no limits of cam-whoring, certain bloggers proceeded to take photos of themselves blind, like Jessie.

We were to be served a total of four pizzas, each of them different and probable returnees from the familiar Cheesy 7 gang, and honestly, one does not simply resist the temptation to smell the sensual aroma of cheese on the plate.

It does not taste like how it looks like (which is a big bunch of mosaic). A quick bite at all of them reveals a sensational yet harmonious combination of cheese coupled with the various toppings. Though we are really supposed to tell (as if we knew what we ate), it is probably safe to say that the variant of meat that was available on all four pizzas were chicken, seafood, beef and more chicken. Despite the no obvious love for vegetarians was shown during the testing, safe to say that the toppings were also filled with juicy chunky bites of pineapple.

Opinions was then passed around after the blind tasting session and yes, it was safe to concur that all the pizzas tasted invoked an unusual feeling of familiarity, yet carrying with them a renewed sense of taste for the better, much akin to meeting that old friend that you have yet to see for awhile.

I won something! Prior to the tasting session, we were subjected to our finger tapping skills in tweeting a specific phrase and I came out as one of the winners. I'm thinking of giving it out. Want to know how? Stay tuned for more announcements!

So did my dear friend Missyblurkit who graciously invited me to join her this evening.

As well as resident technological addict Vernieman.
